Rachel Winzeler is working with the Living Stones program in Brazil and has the goal of starting/assisting 10 Living Stones in 10 towns in 10 years. Rachel first came to Brazil in 1999, on a short term missions trip with her youth group. In college, she decided that two weeks was not enough, and came back for an internship. Soon after, the International school began and Rachel returned to teach English. Now, after six years of going back and forth (due to various visa issues), she has lived in Brazil for three years and found her calling with the Living Stones program. Rachel continues to teach at the International school, as well as give English classes, but her heart has been taken by the amazing children she has met in the Living Stones program.

Rachel's desire is to help connect the Living Stones ministries with the resources they need, as well as to connect others who have the same heart—but may be far away—to the Living Stones program. Please read about what is going on at www.buildinglivingstones.blogspot.com. Rachel has two associates degrees, one in Child and Youth Character Development from TELOS University, and the other in Early Childhood Education from Ivy Tech Community College. She also has a bachelor's degree in General Studies from Indiana University, and is taking post-grad classes in Brazil for Educational Psychology.
